When you are done, Filo knows your business and has 3 posts ready for you to look at. It takes about 10 minutes, and most of that is waiting while Filo works.

- Your website address, if you have one. No website? You can still set up, see below.
- About 10 minutes without a customer in front of you.
- Your Instagram or Facebook login, if you want to connect them straight away. You can also do this later.
The steps
Make your account
Open use.filo.inc/signup. Tap Continue with Google if you have a Google account. Otherwise type your name, email and a password, tick the box and tap Sign up.

Type the address of your website and tap Continue. Filo starts reading it straight away, while you answer the next questions.

Filo shows the name it found on your website. Tap Yes, that's us if it is right. If it is not, tap No, that's not it and type the right name.

Filo lists the pages it found on your website. Remove any that are not yours, add one that is missing, then tap Generate my first posts.

Choose monthly or yearly, type your billing details and pay by card. You can also ask for bank details and pay by transfer. You get 100% of your money back if you cancel in the first 30 days.

What Filo did while you answered
- Read your website.
- Wrote your brand kit: what you do, who your customers are, how you sound, your services, your logo and your colours.
- Saved the photos from your website in Media.
- Found your social media pages.
- Drafted your first 3 posts.

I do not have a website
On the first screen, tap I don't have a website. You type your business name yourself and answer the same questions.
Without a website Filo has nothing to write your first posts from, so that step ends with Filo hit a snag. That is expected. After setup, open Settings, choose Brand and tell Filo about your business there. Then ask for new posts in Create.
If something goes wrong
Check the address for typing mistakes and tap Try another address. If your website is down or very new, type your business name by hand and carry on. You can let Filo read the website again later.
The first posts did not come out. Tap Go to the studio and ask Filo for new posts there. Nothing else is lost.
Sign in again at use.filo.inc. Filo opens the setup where you left it, with your answers still there.
The owner of your workspace has not finished the setup yet. Ask them to finish it, then open Filo again.
