Connect your Meta ad account
Let Filo run your Facebook and Instagram ads from your own ad account.
When you are done, Filo can build and run Facebook and Instagram ads from your own ad account, and shows you what every campaign costs and brings in.
In Filo
Tap Connect Meta Ads
On Facebook
Tick your ad account and your Page

Choose the ad account, then the Page
Before you start
- A Meta ad account. If you have ever boosted a post or run an ad on Facebook or Instagram, you have one.
- A payment method on that ad account (a card, usually). Meta takes the cost of the ads from it. Filo never charges you for the ads themselves. Without it no ad can start.
- The Facebook Page of your business. Ads always run in the name of a Page.
- A Facebook login that can manage both the ad account and the Page.
- You are the owner or an admin of the Filo workspace.
An agency runs your ads? Send them a setup link and they connect the ad account for you.

Reconnect or disconnect?
| Button | What it does | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Reconnect | You sign in on Facebook again. Filo keeps everything it knows about your campaigns | Filo says it cannot reach Meta, or you added a Page or a permission on Facebook |
| Disconnect | Filo forgets the ad account and all the figures it copied from it. Your campaigns on Meta keep running as they are | You stop using Filo for ads |
Not sure? Keep it

If something goes wrong
Start again from the first step. The usual reasons: the Facebook window was closed before the end, or more than 10 minutes passed. If Filo says no ad account was granted, tick your ad account on Facebook this time.
On Facebook you ticked the ad account but no Page. Tap Reconnect and tick your Page as well.
An ad account can only be in one Filo workspace. Disconnect it there first, or use another ad account here.
Your Facebook login cannot manage that ad account. Ask the person or agency who created it to give you access in Meta Business Suite, or send them a setup link.
Wait a few minutes and look again. If it stays, tap Reconnect: Facebook's permission has run out and needs your sign-in again.
