Let Filo answer customers on your business WhatsApp number.
When you are done, Filo answers the customers who write to your business WhatsApp number.

Before you start
- Your business number is on WhatsApp Business (the app with the letter B), or is managed in Meta Business Suite. A number on the ordinary WhatsApp app cannot be connected: move it to the free WhatsApp Business app first.
- The phone with that number, switched on and next to you, with the WhatsApp Business app updated to the latest version.
- Your Facebook login. WhatsApp belongs to Meta, so you connect through a Facebook window.
- You are the owner or an admin of the Filo workspace.
Which one are you?
Most small businesses are here: you answer customers from the WhatsApp Business app on a phone. After connecting, the app keeps working as before and Filo answers alongside you.

A Facebook window opens. Tap Continue as with your name, then follow the screens until Facebook asks for your number.

Type your business number
Type the number that is on your WhatsApp Business app, with the country code.

Confirm on your phone
Open WhatsApp Business on your phone. You get a message there from Facebook Business. Tap the button in it and confirm. The message also shows a code: type that code into the Facebook window, then tap Finish.
How you know it worked
You are back in Filo. WhatsApp shows the name and number of your business, and one switch.

Your numberFilo answers messagesConversations means Filo answers the messages on this number. Switch it off any time to answer everything yourself. Your message history stays.
If something goes wrong
The number is on the WhatsApp Business app on a phone, so it cannot be picked from a portfolio. Close the window, tap Connect again and choose Link my WhatsApp Business app number.
Something on your device blocks it. Switch off your ad blocker for Filo, allow pop-up windows, and tap Connect again. If it still does not open on a phone, do this one step on a computer.
The Facebook window was closed before the end, or no number was chosen. Tap Connect again and go through to Finish. If Facebook itself shows an error, tap its Report error button: Filo then shows you what Meta said.
A WhatsApp number can only be in one Filo workspace. Remove it from the other workspace first.
Install WhatsApp Business (free) on the same phone and move your number to it when the app asks. Your chats come with you. Then start again from the top.
